A Caring Approach to Debt and Credit Strategy
We help individuals and small businesses figure out how to deal with credit cards, lines of credit, past due taxes, student loans, mortgages, car loans, and other types of debt. Sometimes the solution is bankruptcy (either Chapter 7 or Chapter 13), but often there are alternative options that we can help with as well. Our ultimate goal is always to use bankruptcy as a tool, not the only option presented.
We like to be very straightforward with clients regarding cost, timelines, options, and advice. Here are some of the types of appointments we offer, along with descriptions and examples. Any appointment can be booked online at our scheduling website.

Post Bankruptcy Strategy Session – 1 hour @ $199
A Post Bankruptcy Strategy Session is intended for people who already filed bankruptcy, either recently or several years ago. The purpose of the session is to discuss a number of issues that come up after your bankruptcy, such as credit report inaccuracies, how to get in the position to have good credit again, what debts you still need to pay, and any other questions you have about post-bankruptcy life. This one hour session is at a reduced rate of $199 and some examples of issues discussed are mortgages, car loans, taxes after bankruptcy, steps to take to rebuild credit, and how to get back on track with your finances.

A Student Loan Strategy Session is most often used for students (or parents) who took out student loans for undergraduate, graduate, and/or professional degrees and now need to know what options are available for repaying and possibly forgiving the loans. This session can also be used prior to taking out student loans to get an idea of what the financial future looks like with student loans. Identity Theft Strategy Session – 1 hour @ $199

This one hour session is at a reduced rate of $199 and includes options, timelines, checklists, and answering any questions you have about moving forward after identity theft.
Legal Advice Appointment – 1 hour @ $350
At a Legal Advice Appointment, you have the opportunity to discuss your legal issue with Jen and get advice, options, and costs related to your situation. This appointment is often used for someone who has already gone through a Strategy Session and wants to follow-up with additional questions or concerns. Some examples of a legal advice appointment include options for dealing with a timeshare, review of mortgage documents, or consulting about a loan modification.
